Can my garage door be opened after a spring breaks?
In almost all cases, your door cannot be opened because the springs carry all of its weight when it’s being opened or closed. Also, be sure not to attempt to force the door open, as it can cause extensive damage and pose a danger to anyone close by. Contact our professionals for prompt and dependable spring replacement.
Why doesn't my opener light turn off immediately?
The garage door opener lights are set to turn off minutes after the door closes so that you'll have the time to safely walk into your house. Their default setting is usually around 4-4 ½ minutes, but you can often change it to less or more.
Should I get backup batteries?
At the end of the day, it's up to you. Our experts highly recommend getting backup batteries installed since they can prove to be quite literal "life savers" in cases of emergency, such as an unexpected power outage. Although their capacity isn't infinite, it can often be just enough to prevent disaster.
